Hey Howdy Hey :)

Happy Easter everyone :)

Those of you who read my other blog will understand why i'm happy it's finally over. Those of you who don't, please make an exception for this one post so that i don't sound anti-easter-ish... cus i'm not, i love the religious side (hello, i can now go to heaven... what's not to like!) and the commercial part (um, chocolate. need i say more?) but this years has been a bit stuffed up.

Anyway, so the highlight of my life at the moment is that the bus timetables are back onto a weekday schedule (they're on the Sunday schedule for public holidays, which means they only come once every hour or two) so i can get to places again :)

With that, i thought i'd share some fun things to do whilst on a bus

1) Put in your iPod headphones (but don't put your iPod on): most adults don't even need that much encouragement, but it allows you to discreetly eavesdrop on whatever conversation you like. People have interesting ones whilst on public transport, and to be honest if they're stupid enough to say private stuff loudly whilst on a bus, they deserve someone to overhear it.

2) Play People Bingo: only works with two or more people, really, but you can play it by yourself for a sense of achievement. Write up a list of cliched bus users (or people you're likely to see on the sidewalk) and tick them off. Seriously, it becomes hilarious very quickly.

3) Answer the person speaking on the phone: Again, works best if there's two of you. Take turns responding to the annoying person on their cell phone. By playing it with someone else, the conversation becomes sillier and sillier. And if you're lucky, they'll hang up the phone out of annoyance

4) Strike up a conversation with a random: While not always safe, little old ladies are a good bet for speaking back to you. I've had some great conversations trying to explain that i'm not a uni student, and talking about various aspects of my life. And they generally tell funny stories, too.

5) Bluetooth funny photos: Most people (stupidly) leave their bluetooth on full time. Why not make use of this and send a stupid photos (preferably of your friend who's sitting in another row) to everyone? remember to change your bluetooth name though, you don't want people realising it was from you.

Anyone with more ideas? i'm guaranteed to spent at least 30 minutes on a bus today, so all suggestions are appreciated ;)
